Description – This project aims to provide a meta-synthesis of existing literature on the experience of families of incarcerated asylum seekers. The results will elucidate the detention experience by distinguishing the common elements of this experience according to the country and the detention conditions in question, as well as the components specific to certain asylum seekers (fathers, mothers , children) or contexts of detention.
